Optional Google Drive backup

When you authorize Google Drive access and start a backup or restore, BrightStar uses the drive.file permission to create and manage backup files used with the app. It does not request access to all files in your Drive. You control your backups and can revoke the app's access through your Google Account.

You remain in control of your information. Delete your account directly in the app, or send us a request if you can no longer sign in.

Delete inside the app

Open BRIGHTSTAR MOTOR POLICY MANAGER and sign in.

Go to Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account.

Enter your password and type DELETE.

Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

Request deletion by email

Email from the address registered with your BrightStar account and clearly request permanent deletion. We may ask you to verify ownership.

Firebase login and BrightStar profile
Cloud customers, vehicles and policy records
Cloud credit ledgers and transaction history
Account settings and synchronization state
BrightStar private cache and locally managed document copies

Not deleted automatically

Backups stored in your own Google Drive
PDFs, images or statements separately exported or shared
Information another recipient has already received from you

You control these external copies and can remove them from the relevant device, application or Google Drive account.

Before you delete

Account deletion cannot be undone. Create any backup you want to keep before confirming. Email requests are processed after reasonable identity verification and as quickly as reasonably possible.
