Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BrightStar Motor Policy Manager, provided by BrightStar Technologies, handles information.
Information users provide
The app may process account information, customer names, mobile numbers, addresses, vehicle details, policy dates, documents, credit-ledger entries and business records entered by the user.
How information is used
- Provide customer, vehicle, policy, credit and income-management features.
- Authenticate accounts and keep account-linked records available.
- Create reminders, reports, exports and user-requested backups.
- Maintain security, diagnose errors and provide support.
Services and storage
The app may use Firebase services for authentication and cloud functionality, Google APIs for user-authorised features such as Drive backups, and Google Play for app distribution and purchases. A backup stored in a user’s Google Drive remains under that user’s control.
Documents and sensitive business data
Users are responsible for having permission to enter and manage customer or policy information. The app does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Account-linked information is retained while needed to provide the service or comply with legitimate requirements. Users can request deletion using the in-app controls or the account-deletion page. Files already exported and backups stored in the user’s own Google Drive are not automatically deleted.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used, but no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
The app is intended for business users and is not directed to children.
